This person asks, “If I’m buying a house for the first time ever, are there any programs to help me?” The short answer is yes! First-time homebuyers are at a huge advantage when buying a home. You may be able to get down payment assistance, or even a loan with no down payment at all but you could have to use a government-backed loan assistance program, and you may even have to take an educational class on homeownership.  Also, as a first-time homebuyer, you may even qualify for a loan if your credit score isn’t the best, and some loans offer lower interest rates for first-time buyers.
